Catalan Soccer all started with a dozen footballs and a determination to provide excellent football training for children.
Leeds-born Matthew Ogden knew what a difference good-quality tuition could make to young footballers – giving them the skills and confidence for a life-long love of the game. He developed a unique training method – Odd Sock – for teaching children how to pass, control and shoot with both feet. Giving a clear distinction between left and right feet, it accelerates motor development and skills.
Combine this training style with the very best coaches, inclusive and small ratio groups, a safe and friendly environment and its clear why this game plan is a winner. Because of Catalan’s unwavering dedication for setting high standards, they have now been rewarded with Ofsted Registration. Based at Goals in Kirkstall, Catalan Soccer now runs more than 80 weekly classes and regular school holiday camps. There are beginner, intermediate and elite groups, tots classes and even private one-to-one tuition – something for every age and stage.
