Buns & Roses Women’s Institute

Buns & Roses meet on the third Thursday of the month at The Cosmopolitan Hotel in Leeds. Meetings vary from inspiring guest speakers to crafty get-togethers with the odd cake and cocktail thrown in for good measure! Garforth Townswomen’s Guild

The Guild meets Garforth Miners Welfare Hall on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 1.30 – 3.30, when we enjoy talks and demonstrations (not to mention tea and biscuits!) We arrange outings, meals out and 2 annual fundraising fairs. All welcome, regardless of politics, race, age, religion or circumstances.

Garforth Women’s Institute

Garforth WI is held at Firthfields Community Centre at 8pm on the third Tuesday of every month. Women of all ages are welcome to create a group of various interests and hobbies. Sign up to attend regularly or pay as you go for up to three meetings per year as visitor.

Leeds Dads

Free playgroup for dads meeting every third Sunday at The Tetley from 2-4pm to interact with our kids. A fun opportunity to share the dad experience – all dads and male carers are welcome. We also have the occasional night out whenever possible. Find us on Facebook for more information.

Swillington Garden Growers

Community supported agriculture scheme based in the historic Georgian Walled Garden at Swillington Organic Farm. Sign up to an annual veg box subscription and come along on a Saturday to help with the growing and get your hands dirty in the garden. Children get to help out with the planting at the monthly Kids Club.

The Hunslet Club

The Hunslet Club delivers a range of activities to children and young people aged from 18 months to 25 years. Regular weekly classes include gymnastics, boxing, football, rugby, dance, hip hop, cheer dance, majorettes, drama, ballet and tap.
