Thursday 2nd June Celbrations will start with the lighting of The Beacon on top of Woodhall which will be part the National chain of Beacons.
It is also hoped that there will be a firework display to celebrate , more details of the location to follow.
Farsley Business Forum has secured funding through Councillor Andrew Carter to close Town Street from Frances Street through to The Cenotaph from 1.00pm until 6.00pm on Friday 3rd of June . We are hoping that the shop keepers, cafes, pubs, restaurants, clubs, churches will come out into Town Street and set up stalls so the people of Farsley can celebrate.
The Old Woollen and Weavers Yard will at the same time be having events there with their Jubilee Yard Party.
On Saturday 4th in the afternoon there will be the Tradional Family Farsley Festival in Hainsworth Park.
