The local Leeds community hubs have been set up by Leeds City Council so that families can access a range of support and services in one place locally.

The hubs offer a mixture of library services, housing services, customer services and offer job searching help and advice. They are also a venue for pop up surgeries from organisations such as the National Careers Service, DWP, Money buddies, Credit Union, CAB and others.

The St George’s Centre community hub in Middleton is also a free NHS urgent treatment centre and minor injury service.

Wortley & Farnely Mobile Community Hub

Updated February 2022

Leeds City Council has a Mobile Community Hub that visits and stops in Wortley and Farnley giving access to the community to council services. The vehicles are equipped with Free WiFi, laptops just as you’d use in a council library for personal use and job searching. Customers can also come along should they have any council enquiries and sign up to the Job Shop too. Onboard you will find we have books too just as you would in a mobile library, but with reduced stock due to other services available on the vehicles, however, customers can also order books to collect from the Mobile Community Hubs and drop books off too!
