Welcome to Glisten!
Glisten is a gentle journey exploring the world of reflective materials. Watch as the empty space of the theatre fills with colour, sound and surprises, creating a multi-sensory landscape.
At the end of the performance, babies and parents are invited onto the stage for fun play time with the fabrics and materials featured in the show. (The length of the performance is 35 minutes)

Meet the Fairies as they get ready for bedtime and sing their Queen to sleep with a sweet lullaby.
By the crackling fire, explore fluffy clouds, pretty flowers, long-legged spiders and all the creatures of the fairy woodland. Sit amongst the woodland and watch the magic fairy sparkle come to life. Come, join us and dance in a circle to our favourite fairy song – an enchanting experience, to delight babies, little ones and their grown-ups.
This short fairy experience for babies lasts 30 minutes followed by a short free play session. Limited Spaces Available – Book Now
Because we have been there and know what it takes to get out of the door with a little one, we have teamed up with Cast to create a special event during the first day of this lovely show (which is running 9th-11th December). Come and celebrate your baby’s first Christmas with other mums and babies!
As well as being able to enjoy one of the shows (Glisten: 10.30am, 12pm or 2pm/ The Magical Fairy Lullaby: 10am, 11am, 12pm), we will have a parents chill out area for as long as you want to, where you can enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee, socialise with other parents, feed your little one and if you have older siblings, we’ll have some activities for them to enjoy too.
There will also be a schedule of activities throughout the day, so you can try out a taster class free of charge with Tots Play...classes that offer the benefits of baby massage, yoga, signing, music and sensory play all in one…or Baby Bunnies…Baby Massage session covering colic and reflux.*
Family Hubs will also be with us, the NCT ladies and Doncaster Health Visitors, who will be around for the day with some of their breastfeeding peer supporters. Puddle Ducks Doncaster will be with us too and can answer any questions on water safety and swimming with your little one.
Abby from Noah’s Arc Sling Library will also be holding a couple of sessions throughout the day and the ladies from the Pud Store will be with us too.
So, if you’re thinking that you’d like to do something a bit different for your little ones first Christmas, come to the theatre! There will be lots of support for you, lots of people to talk to and lots to do!
