Join Wakefield Metropolitan Band at New Wortley Recreation Ground for a free concert of brass band favourites from 2.30pm-4.30pm.
Wakefield Metropolitan Band is based in Sandal, where it was formed back in 1977. The Band has had many proud and enjoyable moments in its four decade history, and these continue to come. Since its formation in the seventies the band has performed many concerts each year, including the Bands in the Parks series throughout Yorkshire, at agricultural shows, charity fund-raising events and the very popular Christmas Brass concert.
