Library: 10am-5pm (Mon & Tues), 9am-5pm (Wed, Thur, Fri), 10am-1pm (Sat), closed on Sunday.

Hunslet Community Hub Services & Facilities

The centre brings together various services under one roof, making it easier to contact us face-to-face.  This is a free and confidential service. The main services provided by our fully-trained team include the following:

  • Adult Social Care
  • Children and Young People Social Care
  • Disabled parking badges and disabled bus passes
  • Housing Leeds
  • Council benefits including free school meals
  • Council tax
  • Parking-related services
  • Other council services such as environmental services, emptying wheelie bins,
  • Street lighting and maintaining roads and pavements
  • Library services with internet access
  • All Community Hubs are Hate reporting centres for reporting Hate crime or getting advice
  • Facilities in the building include:
    • Self service PCs where assistance is available to claim Universal Credit or Job Search
    • Hotline phones for Leeds City Council enquiries

On Mondays each week the Citizens Advice Bureau hold an advice session 10-12pm, appointments to be pre-booked with Citizens Advice.

BSL Video interpreting is available at the centre.

In our main waiting area you will find a wide range of information, from advice about benefits to local events and what is happening in our city. If there is any information you cannot find, please ask one of our team.
