The Funky Jives regular classes are fun movement to music and dance sessions using a variety of dance props (pom poms, scarves, ribbons, maracas, handbells and hoops).
In addition to the regular classes, Funky Jives also runs FREE monthly inter-generational events. These mixed generation sessions bring young children and care home residents together to celebrate each other and enjoy music, movement, stories, songs and craft together.

This session involves half an hour of music and movement and a chance to chat, play and have tea/coffee and snacks (provided). Babies up to 5 years.

Movement to music, songs, stories and crafts, aimed at under-5s. Juice and biscuits are provided but feel free to bring your own.

The Guild meets in Halliday Court (just off Main Street) on the second Thursday of each month, when we enjoy talks and demonstrations (not to mention tea and biscuits!)
